The Real Housewives of New York City Season 16 premieres today, and newcomer Erika Hammond, a former WWE developmental wrestler, has already given fans one reason to watch closely. Asked which cast member became her biggest disappointment, she needed almost no time to name one of her co-star.
Erika Hammond Calls Daisy Her Biggest Disappointment From RHONY Season 16
Hammond, currently a fitness entrepreneur, and celebrity trainer, is joining the Bravo series alongside Hailey Glassman and Daisy Toye, with the three newcomers receiving their apples for the new season.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly ahead of the Season 16 premiere, Hammond was asked who had been her biggest disappointment during the season.
“Daisy,” Hammond said in a blink.
The answer was followed by a long pause, prompting the interviewer to laugh and ask whether she had anything else to add. Hammond suggested that some of the tension can already be seen in the trailer.
“You see glimpses of it in the trailer,” Hammond said. “She’s already talking sh*t about my house for no reason.”
The new Housewife then explained why the comment about her home stood out to her, while also promising that viewers can expect plenty of drama, emotional moments and surprises throughout the season.
“She thinks that she is Martha. I’m hosting you. I love hosting.” Hammond added, “I think it’s going to be an amazing season. There is a lot of drama. Like a lot. Um, but there is a lot of good times. There’s a lot of crying.”
Hammond previously made headlines for her lavish 2024 wedding, which took place in front of the pyramids in Egypt.
Her RHONY debut arrives as Season 16 premieres September 8, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, with next-day streaming available on Peacock.
