Wilson Bethel is eager to play Bullseye again and already has an interesting plan for the character’s future.

During a recent interview with Collider, the actor behind Daredevil: Born Again revealed he is willing to reprise the role and shared intriguing thoughts about the future of the antihero.

Wilson Bethel Outlines Who Bullseye Should Fight in Upcoming Movies

In Bethel’s opinion, Bullseye should not be fighting anyone on the level of Galactus, but rather heroes like Spider-Man, Hawkeye, or Punisher.

“He wouldn’t function well against someone like Galactus, but it would be a hell of a lot of fun to see him against Spider-Man, Hawkeye, or Punisher,” he said.

His reasoning comes down to character logic: Ben Poindexter is a precision killer. Fighting cosmic-level threats simply would not suit the character, whereas facing off against street-level heroes is where he could truly thrive. Moreover, confrontations with those characters would serve as a natural continuation of Bullseye’s story in Born Again.

It is true that Ben Poindexter lacks the power to battle cosmic forces. He is lethal, dangerous, and ideally suited for close-quarters confrontations, making Bethel’s idea especially fitting given Bullseye’s long-standing rivalry with Spider-Man in the comics.

What’s Next for the MCU’s Bullseye?

As mentioned earlier, Bethel’s ideas are rooted in logic. His character has significant potential following Born Again and could fit naturally into several upcoming projects.

Daredevil and Punisher are reportedly set to team up alongside Spider-Man in a future MCU project, and adding Bullseye to the mix could further elevate the story.

Marvel Studios has recently expanded its focus on street-level heroes. With Daredevil, Punisher, and Spider-Man all active within the MCU, it would not be surprising to see another grounded villain join the lineup.

It will be interesting to see whether Bethel’s ideas eventually become reality in future Marvel projects.
