Callum Turner is already looking past his wedding and into fatherhood. The One Night Only star believes starting a family with wife Dua Lipa is exactly where he wants his next decade to head.
Turner and Lipa married twice within days of each other earlier this year. The pair held a small, legal ceremony at a London registry office before throwing a three-day celebration at Villa Valguarnera outside Palermo, Sicily, with more than 200 guests including Elton John, Donatella Versace, Charli XCX, and Joe Alwyn.
Asked by Esquire UK what he sees his next decade looking like, Turner kept it simple. He said “more of the same” on the work front before adding one more word: family. When the interviewer pressed on whether that was a genuine priority, he didn’t hesitate.
“Obviously, yeah, I’m 36. I’d like to have a family and raise some kids,” Turner said. “It’s nice to find someone that you love and who loves you and you want to be around all the time.”
Turner and Lipa were first linked in January 2024, and the relationship played out gradually before the two went Instagram official later that year before making their red carpet debut at the 2025 Met Gala. By June 2025, Lipa had confirmed their engagement in an interview with British Vogue, and less than a year later, the couple was married.
For two people who kept their romance largely out of the headlines in the beginning, the leap from quietly dating to talking about kids has moved fast.

Callum Turner Stays Cagey on the James Bond Rumors
The same Esquire UK sit-down also circled back to a subject Turner has spent over a year dodging: whether he’s the next James Bond. He’s been the bookmakers’ favorite to replace Daniel Craig since late last year, with George Clooney publicly backing him as “the perfect guy” for the role after they worked together on The Boys in the Boat.
Turner wasn’t budging this time either. Asked directly about the speculation, he laughed it off before shutting the door on the topic entirely.
“I’m not going to comment on that either. I don’t know anything, so I can’t comment. There’s nothing for me to comment on,” Turner said.
He didn’t confirm any interest in playing 007, and he didn’t deny it either. With Denis Villeneuve attached to direct the next installment and no official casting news from Amazon MGM Studios, Turner’s silence is likely to keep the rumor mill running well past this interview.
For now, he’s made it clear which headline he’d rather be writing: the one about the family he wants to build with Lipa.
