Gladys survived the birth of the Duke of Buckingham’s heir, but the Season 4 premiere ends with her not knowing the cost. A severe hemorrhage forced doctors to remove her uterus, and Hector and Bertha now have to decide when to tell her she cannot have another child.

Bertha returns to a frosty household in Episode 2, “You Won’t Hear Me Beg”, while Peggy and Agnes get storylines of their own. So, here is exactly when the episode drops, plus the schedule for the whole season.

The Gilded Age is an HBO original, so US viewers can watch it on HBO or HBO Max. Use the HBO Max app on your phone, smart TV or streaming device, or open it in a browser. Prime Video subscribers can add HBO Max as a Prime Video Channel instead.

As for the price, HBO Max costs $10.99 per month for Basic with Ads, $18.49 for Standard and $22.99 for Premium in the US. Standard removes the ads, and Premium adds 4K. The Prime Video Channel add-on starts at $10.99 per month for Basic with Ads on top of a Prime membership.

Pricing looks very different outside the US. In India, the show streams on JioHotstar, where the Super plan costs ₹149 per month and includes Hollywood content. The ₹79 Mobile plan does not include it by default. In the UK, new episodes air on Sky Atlantic and stream on NOW, and prices vary by plan, so confirm the current rate in your app before you sign up.

Whatever you end up paying, new episodes arrive weekly instead of all at once. That means no binge, and plenty of time to wait for Gladys to learn the truth.
