Victoria’s Secret was looking to make “fashion history all over again” at its October 18 fashion show in Los Angeles, marking the return of its pricey, gemstone-encrusted Fantasy Bra for the first time since 2018. The brand needed a model who could match the occasion, and Kylie Jenner proved to be just the right choice.

Jenner, a reality TV star-turned-beauty entrepreneur, is one of the most followed women on Instagram, boasting a staggering 380 million followers. She dazzled on the runway in the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra, which, according to Vogue, was valued at $50 million. Weighing four pounds, the dazzling piece featured 4,410 natural diamonds and a 75.54-carat radiant-cut Fancy Vivid yellow diamond.
Following her runway debut, Jenner took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes glimpses of the experience. One of the first images showed her backstage wearing Victoria’s Secret’s signature pink-striped robe, with her name embroidered on the lapel.
The 29-year-old also shared a close-up look at the Fantasy Bra, which took 15 craftspeople more than 1,000 hours to create. Expressing her excitement in the caption, she simply wrote, “Best day ever.”
Jenner went on to repost supportive messages from her friends and colleagues, including one from her mother, Kris Jenner.
“My sweet angel girl, so proud of you,” Kris captioned her post.
Meanwhile, Kylie’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, was seated alongside her mother during the show. The Dune actor was spotted smiling and applauding as the Kardashians star made her runway debut.
The appearance marked Kylie’s first time walking for Victoria’s Secret, and she certainly made a memorable entrance. Her older sister, Kendall Jenner, has walked the brand’s runway several times, but Kylie’s debut brought a new level of star power to this year’s show.
