“Meghan didn’t expect Beyoncé to roll out a red carpet. But she absolutely assumed they would have tea, lunch or spend some private time together. When nothing happened, it stung.”

Beyoncé greeted Meghan as “my princess” when they met at The Lion King premiere in London in 2019, and she later posted public support for the Duchess following the Oprah interview.
