Olivia Rodrigo has a post-show ritual, and it involves a cheeseburger. Specifically, a Five Guys cheeseburger, every single time, no matter how big the stage or how high the stakes.
The three-time Grammy winner made a surprise appearance at the Lego Editions x Olivia Rodrigo Vinyl Hunt pop-up at Licorice Pizza Records in Los Angeles on July 27. During a fan Q&A at the event, she revealed the food tradition she has kept going since the early days of her career, and then pointed fans toward where she had already hidden it in plain sight inside one of her brand-new Lego sets.

The ritual came up because she had already immortalized it in brick form before fans even knew to look for it.
“In the big guitar thing, it opens up and it’s a dressing room, and in the dressing room is a little hamburger because after every important show that I do, whether it’s the Grammys or SNL dressing rooms, I always get a Five Guys cheeseburger,” Rodrigo said with a laugh at the event.
The hamburger is tucked inside the mini dressing room of her Lego Dual Guitar Set, one of five sets released on August 1 as part of the Lego Editions x Olivia Rodrigo collaboration. The other sets in the range are the Vinyl Room Decor Set, Concert Moon Set, Flower Bouquet Set, and Secret Storage Set, each drawing on different corners of her visual world across the GUTS era and beyond.

“It’s really fun to have the mini fig Legos,” she said at the event. “Super fun to commemorate my tour outfits and my music video outfits in the little mini figures.”
Rodrigo has built a reputation for rewarding close attention, from the color-coded eras of her discography to the lyrical callbacks scattered across her albums.
