The point is, no matter how much her husband has changed, the blood of thousands of victims will remain between them forever.
Now, as per the recent plot, Invincible shows that the Graysons’ marriage is doomed forever. The damage has already been done; the couple may have to move on without their previous relationship. They will never be a family like before, but they are on the verge of finding some common ground for the sake of their boys.
What will make Debbie forgive Nolan in the end is their children’s well-being and safety. It is evident that Oliver and Mark have always been the glue that held their parents together, and now it will work vice versa. It is quite obvious that, come the finale, Debbie and Nolan will not have some kind of “happy ending.” However, the current scenario makes it clear that they are not doomed to remain in silence and hate forever; they will find peace, albeit of different kinds.
It is very likely that Nolan will succeed in the upcoming battles against Viltrumites, making the Invincible Season 4 finale quite unpredictable. But whether or not the hero will manage to survive and return to Earth, they will both find their way to forgiveness and acceptance of the new reality.
