The premise of Spider-Man: Brand New Day picks up right where the last film left off. Doctor Strange’s spell wiped Peter from the minds of MJ, Ned, and basically everyone he’s ever met, forcing him to rebuild his life completely alone.
It’s the kind of gut-punch ending that fans have spent years theorizing about, and now that the sequel is finally rolling out its press tour, journalists have started asking Holland to imagine that scenario playing out with his actual real-life partner, Zendaya.

“She’d never forget me,” Holland said.

Zendaya has offered her own version of this energy throughout the tour too, telling reporters at a recent photocall that there isn’t a single thing about Holland she’d want to forget.
