Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Release Schedule and Air Times

While Paramount+ has not published an official drop time, Episodes arrive at 12:00 AM PT and 3:00 AM ET on release day. US clocks fell back on November 1, so viewers in the UK and India see episodes an hour later than they did for the premiere.

How and Where to Watch Dexter: Resurrection Season 2

New episodes stream on Paramount+, and only on the Premium plan. Subscribers on the Essential tier will need to upgrade to watch. All 10 episodes of Season 1 are also on the platform for Premium subscribers, so anyone catching up has time before episode 2.
The upgrade costs $13.99 per month in the US, or $139.99 per year, up from $12.99 per month before the increase that took effect on January 15, 2026. The Essential plan is cheaper at $8.99 per month, but it does not include Season 2.
Paramount+ has been moving away from free trials, though some sign-ups still show a trial or promotion, so read the offer before you enter payment details.
Viewers in the UK and Ireland can also stream the season on Paramount+, which premiered it on October 30. In the US, the series additionally airs on Showtime on Sundays, as the franchise marks its 20th anniversary.
What to Expect From Dexter: Resurrection Season 2

Season 2 opens with Dexter picking off the surviving killers from Leon Prater’s vault while Harrison builds a career at the NYPD. Paramount+ describes Dexter as being torn between a well-known killer and one spreading a new kind of fear across the city, all while he struggles with middle age.
Showrunner Clyde Phillips has told Entertainment Weekly that recognition is something Dexter has always craved. That craving is the season’s engine, because both of his new foils want attention in their own ways. The premiere also brings back Joey Quinn, who arrives asking about Angel Batista.
Who Is New in the Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Cast?

Brian Cox plays Don Framt, the New York Ripper, an infamous killer who terrorized the city decades ago. When we meet him he is inactive, and he stays in the game by taunting the survivors of his old killing spree. Cox won a Golden Globe for playing Logan Roy in Succession and was the first screen Hannibal Lecktor in Manhunter.
Dan Stevens plays the Five Borough Killer, a serial killer who, in the manner of the unsolved Zodiac case, phones in threats to murder civilians and then follows through. Stevens is best known as Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey, and he led the thriller The Guest. Both he and Cox join as series regulars.
Gabriel Luna guest stars as Ray Ballard, known as the Sleepy-Eyed Stranger. Little has been revealed about him beyond the name, and he has not appeared yet. Luna’s credits include Terminator: Dark Fate and The Last of Us.
Bokeem Woodbine joins as Captain Mixon, the head of the detectives chasing Framt. In the premiere he backs bringing Framt to justice but tells Wallace and Oliva they need more than circumstantial evidence. Nona Parker Johnson plays Fiona Mixon, who shares his surname and shows up opposite Harrison in the premiere.
Returning guests include Krysten Ritter as fashion designer and killer Mia LaPierre, also known as Lady Vengeance. Eric Stonestreet returned as Al Walker, the Rapunzel Killer, though he did not survive the premiere. Uma Thurman also returns as Charley.
Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Killer List Tracker

After the NYPD found Leon Prater’s vault, five living killers from his club went into hiding, and Dexter took their files. Season 2 opens three years after Season 1, and he has already crossed several names off his list. Alongside that list, the season adds new threats and a returning face. We will update this tracker as the season goes on.
| KILLER | PLAYED BY | STATUS AFTER EPISODE 1 |
|---|---|---|
| Midnight Mangler | Not shown | Dead, killed by Dexter in Seattle before the premiere |
| Yonkers Slayer | Not shown | Dead, killed by Dexter before the premiere |
| Al Walker / Rapunzel Killer | Eric Stonestreet | Dead, choked by Dexter in Pennsylvania. |
| Don Framt / New York Ripper | Brian Cox | Alive and the main suspect, but police have no proof |
| Lucas Stark / Five Borough Killer | Dan Stevens | Active, with his first victim killed at a rain-cancelled baseball game |
| Ray Ballard / Sleepy-Eyed Stranger | Gabriel Luna | Not yet introduced |
| Mia LaPierre / Lady Vengeance | Krysten Ritter | Seemingly died in prison in Season 1, now returning |
Framt, a former subway employee in a wheelchair, still terrorizes the survivors of his victims through voice-modulated phone calls, while Stark is killing in each borough to terrorize the city.
Ballard, a guest star, breaks into homes night after night and moves things around just enough to haunt his victims before he kills. Wallace has also put Harrison and his new partner, Fiona Mixon, on a detail watching Framt.
Mia is the wild card, since Dexter is the one who got her locked up before seemingly being killed on Prater’s orders in Season 1 Episode 6. I think she is the biggest threat to Dexter’s cover, because she knows him as Red and has a clear grudge.
