Tayler Holder’s When No One’s Around Tour has been canceled after the country singer opened up about months of private mental health struggles that he says he could no longer continue hiding.
Holder, who first rose to fame on TikTok before fully pursuing a music career, described the decision to cancel the remaining tour dates as one of the hardest choices of his life.
“Over the last several months, I’ve been battling my mental health like never before. I’ve tried to stay quiet, put my head down, and just push through all of this, but I’ve finally reached my limit and can’t go on anymore in this state,” he wrote in an emotional Instagram post.
“Performing for you guys is the greatest honor of my life, and I’ve spent years working toward being able to play these shows. This decision was not made lightly.”
Holder also admitted that despite achieving many of the dreams he once worked for, he still feels “so lonely” and “unfulfilled.” The singer apologized to fans who had already made plans to attend the shows, acknowledging the disappointment caused by the cancellation.
What Was the Tour?
Holder’s When No One’s Around Tour was originally set to begin on May 1, with dates scheduled through November 28, 2026. The tour included stops in cities such as St. Louis, Kansas City, Atlanta, and Jacksonville, along with several other performances throughout the summer and fall.
The singer had also been announced as part of CMA Fest in Nashville from June 4 through June 7. However, his name is no longer listed among the festival performers on the official website.
Looking back, many fans believe Holder’s recent music hinted at his struggles.
Released in April, his single When No One’s Around focused heavily on themes of loneliness, emotional exhaustion, and feeling lost at 28 despite believing life would be figured out by 25.
In a TikTok video promoting the song, Holder also encouraged fans to check in on friends who may appear happy on the surface.
What About Refunds?
At this time, there have been no official updates regarding refunds for canceled tour dates. Some reports suggest information could eventually be shared through Holder’s website or social media accounts, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Holder has not revealed when he plans to return to music or touring. However, based on his statement, he hopes stepping away for now will allow him to focus on his mental health and eventually return in a healthier state.
