Fans won’t have to wait much longer for the next chapter of ‘Daemons of the Shadow Realm‘. The anime’s second cour is officially set to premiere on July 4, 2026, continuing the adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s supernatural manga, following the first batch of episodes that introduced viewers to its mysterious world.
Alongside the release date, the production team has also unveiled a new trailer, a fresh key visual, and details about the opening and ending themes, giving fans a preview of what’s ahead when the series returns.
When And Where To Watch
Cour 2 of ‘Daemons of the Shadow Realm’ will premiere on Saturday, July 4, 2026, airing at 11:30 PM JST on TOKYO MX and other Japanese television networks.
International viewers will once again be able to watch the series on ‘Crunchyroll’, which will stream new subtitled episodes shortly after they air in Japan.
For fans waiting for the English dub, the release schedule is expected to remain consistent with the first cour. The dubbed version has been running approximately two weeks behind the Japanese broadcast, placing the expected premiere of Cour 2’s English dub around July 18, 2026.
New Trailer Reveals Theme Songs
Ahead of the premiere, ‘Studio Bones’ released a brand-new trailer and key visual showcasing the upcoming episodes.
The latest promotional material also confirmed the new theme songs that will accompany Cour 2.
The opening theme, “backshot,” will be performed by ‘Masanori Otoda‘, while the ending theme, “Kujaku“ (“Peacock”), is performed by ‘Kei Sugawara’.
The new music accompanies the next stage of the story as the series expands on the conflicts introduced earlier in the season.
