Does Valley Forge Auto make it out of Tires Season 3 in one piece? Technically yes, but not exactly in one piece.
The Netflix workplace comedy from Shane Gillis has spent its third season putting Will and Shane through the wringer, and the finale, titled “It’s a Good Day, West Chester”, does not exactly deliver on that title.
Season 3’s 12-episode run ends in an implosion of what could have saved Valley Forge, after a scandal breaks right as things finally start turning around for the shop. Fans clicking into the finale expecting a clean win for the Jacobs family instead got one more gut punch.
What Actually Happens To Valley Forge

The season had been building toward salvation. By the end of Season 3, the partnership with TakaTaka Tires looks set to give Valley Forge a new lease on life, and Phil ultimately hands the business over to Will and Shane, choosing to head off and explore the world with Bonnie instead.
On paper, that’s the happy ending. Phil steps back, the cousins finally run the place themselves, and a fresh corporate partner is ready to keep the lights on.
Then it all goes sideways. Shane and Will’s TV appearance to promote the TakaTaka partnership turns into a mess that nearly sends TakaTaka’s founder walking out in embarrassment. Calvin gets arrested during the broadcast fallout, which makes TakaTaka look suspicious, and Kilah’s earlier van comment only adds fuel to the fire even after Calvin is cleared.
It’s peak Tires chaos: a genuine business opportunity getting sabotaged by the same cast of characters who were supposed to be selling it.
As if that weren’t enough, a new tire company plans to open shops in West Chester and even offers to buy out Valley Forge, since the shop is no longer the biggest name in town. When Shane and Will refuse to sell, the rival’s tone shifts from a business offer into something closer to a threat, and the season ends without that thread getting resolved.

Shane’s Personal Life Gets Complicated Too

The shop isn’t the only thing left in limbo. Lucy reveals she’s pregnant during the same disastrous TV appearance, when her texts pop up on the studio monitors in front of everyone. It’s an embarrassing way to find out you’re about to be a father, but that’s very on brand for Shane.
Shane and Lucy don’t officially get back together by the end of the finale. She reconnects with him over the pregnancy, and he promises to support whatever she decides, but neither one pushes to restart the relationship. Jill, meanwhile, fades back out of the picture as quickly as she arrived, leaving Shane’s personal life about as unsettled as the shop’s future.
So does Valley Forge survive? Barely, and only in the sense that the doors are still open when the credits roll. Season 3’s ending plays much more like a transition than a real conclusion, setting up a harder question for whatever comes next: what happens when the business finally belongs to Will and Shane to lose.
Netflix hasn’t confirmed a fourth season yet, but between the rival tire company circling and a baby on the way, Tires has left itself plenty of gas in the tank.
