Suits has been off the air since 2019, but one of its biggest stars just handed fans a reason to start hoping again. Patrick J. Adams spent his Friday laying out, in detail, exactly how he thinks the show could come back.

The pitch landed on Adams’ Instagram Stories, and it did not read like a vague wish. It read like an actual outline, complete with a case, a threat to the old firm, and a role for Meghan Markle. Given how Suits exploded into a streaming phenomenon years after it ended, that kind of detail is enough to get an entire fanbase talking.

Adams’ story centers on Mike Ross and Rachel Zane, Markle’s character, in a class action suit against a massive AI company. As that case unfolds, old secrets from Pearson Hardman resurface, threatening to expose “years of past indiscretions and illegal maneuvering” from the firm’s early days.

From there, Adams sketched out the fallout for the entire old crew. Harvey and Donna’s fresh start together gets put at risk, Jessica’s political career takes a hit, and Louis stands to lose the firm he spent the whole series fighting for. Adams even threw in lighter details, joking about “skinny tie jokes,” bike-riding montages, and giving Harvey and Donna a baby so Mike can tease him about diaper duty.

He did not stop at one show, either. Adams floated a trio of spinoffs to go with it: a Jessica-led “Suits Chicago,” a Harvey and Donna-led “Suits Seattle,” and a Louis-led “Suits NYC.”

Adams was careful to note that this is entirely his own imagination at work. He said he does not “know anything” about actual revival plans, adding that “the powers that be walked away” once “Suits LA” was canceled after a single season in 2025. Nevertheless, he made his position clear, closing with a simple, “I’m available.”

This is not the first time Adams has pushed for a reunion. He and several castmates, including Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill, Abigail Spencer, and Amanda Schull, reunited on stage at the ATX TV Festival in June 2024 to discuss similar ideas.

However, nothing is confirmed on the network or streaming side yet, but with Suits still one of the most-watched licensed titles on both Netflix and Peacock, Adams’ pitch is exactly the kind of spark that tends to get studio phones ringing.
