Nagumo turned himself into a walking mirror trick to end chapter 268, and Sakamoto Days chapter 269 is where fans finally see if that gamble against Gaku and Uzuki actually held up.

Chapter 268 closed on the tightest note the series has hit in months. Gaku had just helped Uzuki back to his feet, confident enough that Gaku alone could handle Nagumo, only for Nagumo to disguise himself as Uzuki mid-fight and then flip into Gaku’s own face a second later.

The editor’s note for that chapter promised the battle between Nagumo and Gaku would reach its conclusion, and it delivered a split-second of confusion that the pair’s numbers advantage couldn’t survive.

That cliffhanger left one obvious question hanging over the fandom: does Sakamoto, still recovering from the blade Uzuki put through him, get to see how this plays out, or is Nagumo finishing this fight alone.

Sakamoto Days Chapter 269 Release Date and Time

Sakamoto Days chapter 269 will drop on Sunday, July 26, 2026, following the manga’s usual Weekly Shonen Jump slot. Here’s how that lands across time zones.

Pacific Time hits at 8am, Central came at 10am, and Eastern readers get the chapter at 11am, all on Sunday, July 26. Fans in the UK will be able to read it at 4pm BST, Central Europe will get it at 5pm, and India’s release window lands at 8:30pm.

The Philippines can read it at 11pm Sunday, before Japan crosses into Monday, July 27 at 12am JST, with Australian Central time following half an hour later.

Chapter 269 will be live on the Shonen Jump app, VIZ Media‘s official website, and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus, all as part of the same day-and-date rollout that’s kept this series easy to follow overseas since the manga began serializing.

The bigger picture hasn’t changed either.

Sakamoto Days is reportedly down to its final handful of chapters, which means every beat of this Nagumo, Gaku, and Uzuki collision carries more weight than a typical mid-arc skirmish.

Whatever chapter 269 confirms about who’s still standing, it’s setting up whatever comes next for Sakamoto’s shot at running the JAA and finally getting back to that convenience store.
