After a four-year wait, Euphoria is back, and it’s almost over. If you’re trying to figure out how many episodes are left before the finale and when they drop, here’s everything you need.
Euphoria Season 3 Episode Count & Release Schedule
There are eight episodes in Season 3 of Euphoria, with new episodes releasing weekly on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET. Season 3 started premiering on April 12, 2026, after a four-year hiatus.
With Episode 6 airing on May 17, only two episodes remain before the finale. Here’s the full release schedule:

Overview of Season 3’s Storyline
Season 3 jumps five years into the future, showing the characters of Euphoria as adults after high school.
Rue becomes a smuggler operating in Mexico in an attempt to repay Laurie, the drug dealer who has spent years waiting to collect the $10,000 she owes. Nate and Cassie, now engaged, continue living in East Highland, while Cassie turns to OnlyFans in hopes of funding the wedding she desperately wants. Meanwhile, Maddy and Lexi pursue careers in Hollywood.
Eric Dane also makes a posthumous appearance in what became his final television role. New additions to the cast include Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace. Missing from the season are characters portrayed by Barbie Ferreira, Storm Reid, and the late Angus Cloud.
Is Season 3 the Final Season?
It certainly appears that way. Zendaya, who plays Rue, said on The Drew Barrymore Show that she believed Season 3 would be the show’s final chapter, adding that “that closure is coming.”
HBO Head of Drama Francesca Orsi also addressed the situation, saying: “We’ve talked about it. I don’t think anything is over until it’s over, but it’s been discussed that this is the end.”
Meanwhile, creator Sam Levinson previously revealed that there were no active plans for a fourth season. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he explained, “I write every season like it’s the last.”
With only two episodes left and no signs of a renewal, the Euphoria Season 3 finale on May 31 is widely expected to be the series finale.
