Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce added a stunning new property to his real estate portfolio, purchasing a beautiful lakefront estate in Bratenahl, Ohio, for $5.35 million. He completed the purchase in March, only a few months before he and pop superstar Taylor Swift tied the knot at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
The property sits along the southern shoreline of Lake Erie in a small, exclusive village just a few miles from Cleveland Heights, where Kelce grew up alongside his older brother, Jason Kelce.

Originally built in 1895, the massive Elizabethan-Tudor residence spans approximately 21,140 square feet across 3.5 acres of private land. According to real estate records, the home went through an extensive, multi-year renovation that meticulously restored or replaced original details like leaded glass windows, walnut and oak carvings, and historic door hardware.
The estate features eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, alongside a wide array of luxury amenities. Highlights of the massive compound include multiple fireplaces, a five-car garage, a fitness center, a sauna, a wine cellar and tasting room, and a resort-style swimming pool.
Notably, the mansion’s original ballroom has been transformed into a spacious game room and home theater, while the separate gatehouse has been converted into a cozy two-bedroom guest cottage.

The property’s prime location provides the couple with convenient access to the Cleveland area as well as a nearby private airport, offering extra privacy and seamless travel options for the newlyweds.
“We’re thrilled for the new owners and so excited for Cleveland,” real estate representatives from The Agency Cleveland noted in a statement regarding the major sale.
The Bratenahl estate joins an extensive real estate portfolio the couple shares across multiple states, including properties in Tennessee, Rhode Island, New York, California, and Kansas.
While it remains unconfirmed whether the newly renovated Ohio mansion will serve as their permanent primary residence, the sprawling lakeside retreat gives the high-profile pair a quiet, familiar sanctuary close to home.
