The spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1192 are here, and the battle in Elbaf has just reached another major turning point. Luffy has spent the fight struggling to deal meaningful damage to Imu, but a new attack with Loki finally allows the Straw Hat captain to break through the ruler’s seemingly untouchable defense.
The chapter also gives Usopp one of his biggest moments in the Elbaf arc before delivering an explosive cliffhanger. From the Shield of Emptiness to Luffy’s new Dawn Thor Bullet, Chapter 1192 appears to push the fight with Imu into completely new territory.
Usopp Refuses To Abandon Luffy Or Elbaf
As the battle continues, Scopper Gaban tries to convince the giants, including Hajrudin, to retreat and focus on helping Luffy escape. Gaban argues that Luffy is too injured to keep fighting and still does not fully understand what is at stake.
Usopp, however, has absolutely no interest in running away. Standing on Hajrudin’s shoulder, he refuses to abandon Elbaf or the giants after everything they have done for the Straw Hats. He even says he does not care about Joyboy, Nika or Gold Roger, making it clear that what matters to him is protecting Luffy’s freedom.
“If they try to take away Luffy’s freedom to save Elbaf, we will never forgive them!!” Usopp declares, leaving Gaban stunned.

Luffy And Loki Break Through Imu’s Defense
Luffy continues attacking Imu, but their defense remains almost impossible to overcome. After punching away fireballs with Haki, Luffy launches a barrage of Gatling attacks, only for Imu to draw the Bofu/Bohu and Tohu/Tofu swords and create the massive Shield of Emptiness using black flames.
The defense is so dense that Luffy actually hurts his own hands when punching it. Realizing normal attacks will not be enough, Luffy teams up with Loki for something far more powerful.
Loki charges Ragnir with black and white lightning, while Luffy stretches himself onto the hammer before being launched directly toward Imu. He then unleashes a new attack called “Gomu Gomu no Dawn Thor Bullet.”
The combination completely pierces the Shield of Emptiness and strikes Imu directly, sending black feathers flying from their wings.
The chapter ends with Imu bleeding from the mouth and their eyes turned completely white. Even more shocking, Imu’s stomach stretches outward from the impact as though their body has become rubber, raising a huge question about whether Luffy’s Gear 5 awakening is affecting Imu directly.
