Jim and Jane are the ones doing the hunting in Slow Horses Season 6, but the ending of Episode 3 leaves a bigger question hanging. Who is pointing them at Slough House?
“Resurrection” closes with River and Sid walking into a bowling alley in search of a phone, while the assassins close in outside. Earlier, Moira Tregorian became the latest name on the list, with Standish, Shirley and Louisa Guy pulling her out of her gas-filled home before the leak finished the job. Jim and Jane incapacitated her and staged that leak.
What Does the Episode 6 Ending Reveal About Jim and Jane?
Their Russian link is the firmest lead so far. Jane slips into Russian during the chase, and Jim reprimands her for it. That lines up with the Kazan killing Sid uncovers, where a woman was shot twice in the head in what was reported as a robbery gone wrong.
River’s theory is that someone used Sid’s identity to carry out that hit, which would explain the travel request the Park waved off as a system glitch. If so, the assassins may be seeking revenge for the Kazan death rather than chasing Sid herself. However, it’s worth noting that Sid’s place on their list remains unclear, and the pair appear to have gone to David’s house looking for River.
Sid still insists on calling Taverner from a payphone, even after River and Coe warn that Regent’s Park may be compromised. The same operatives arrive outside the bowling alley as she and River enter. A quick phone call just became the riskiest move of the episode.

Is There a Leak Inside MI5 in Slow Horses Season 6?
Lamb and Roddy track down Reece Nesmith at a children’s home, where he explains that his father Andrew stole physical records from the Park for Frank Harkness. Andrew later wanted more money for the job, and Harkness killed him. Lamb reads the theft alongside the erased digital records and concludes that someone has the means to find current and former Slough House agents.
He takes that theory to Taverner’s garden, where she refuses to accept that MI5 has a leak. But Lamb leaves after suggesting the operation is likely revenge for something Diana did. Taverner has her own pressure to manage, having removed Emma Flyte as Head of the Dogs after Oliver Nash grilled her over the fallout from her TV interview.
I think the answer sits where those threads meet: a Russian team, stolen files, and a Park with a habit of burying its own secrets. Whether Taverner is the target of the revenge, the cause of it, or both is the question the season still owes. Sid’s faith in her could prove perceptive or badly misplaced.
The bowling alley call sets up Episode 4, which will show what that phone call costs them.
