One Piece Chapter 1191, titled “There’s Still Loki,” arrived this week with Elbaph’s battlefield in chaos. Gaban lies wounded after his clash with Honebami, and Hajrudin steps in to hold the line. As the giant fights to protect Luffy and the others, a familiar figure finally reenters the story.
Loki shows up mid-battle, and Hajrudin wastes no time calling him out.
“Loki?! Square up!!”
Loki fires back without missing a beat.
“That’s right, brother!!!”
The two have barely shared panel time since the Elbaph arc began, with Hajrudin locked into the fight against Honebami and Loki tied up in a separate thread of the story elsewhere on the island. Their paths crossing here, in the middle of the chapter’s biggest fight, makes the moment land harder than a simple cameo would.

A Reunion Years in the Making
The exchange confirms what had been easy to lose track of across Elbaph’s sprawling cast: Loki and Hajrudin are brothers. Their reunion lands in the middle of a chapter already stacked with fallout.
Gaban has lost an arm to Honebami by this point, and the giant’s warning that “there’s no way to win” makes clear the stakes have not cooled off.
Luffy, meanwhile, recovers just in time to rejoin the fight, setting up the chapter’s closing attack alongside Loki and Hajrudin.
Oda has spent much of the Elbaph arc building out a large ensemble, and the brief but pointed brother moment is the kind of detail that rewards readers who have kept pace with every name introduced along the way. Whether Loki and Hajrudin get more shared history explored later in the arc remains to be seen, but Chapter 1191 at least puts their connection back on the page.
