Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War fans will have to wait a little longer before witnessing the anime‘s explosive endgame. Following an official schedule shift by the production committee, the upcoming ninth episode has been delayed from its planned broadcast slot to grant the animation team critical time to polish the final run of episodes.

Where to Watch Bleach: TYBW And What To Expect From Episode 9
Episode 9 streams on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in most international territories, including the UK, Canada, and Australia. Indian viewers can catch it on JioHotstar. In Japan, the episode is also available through U-NEXT, d Anime Store, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, DMM TV, and ABEMA, while Netflix carries the series in the Philippines.
Episode 8, “The End Two Worlds,” left off with Yhwach splitting into three separate versions of himself to invade Seireitei, Hueco Mundo, and the Human World simultaneously. That sets up a three-front war for Episode 9, with Ichigo and Aizen facing Yhwach in Soul Society, Shunsui and the Gotei 13 captains holding the Human World, and Harribel leading the Arrancars in Hueco Mundo.
The Soul Society fight carries the most weight going in. Ryuken handed Uryu the Still Silver Arrowhead in Episode 7, an artifact built specifically to counter the Quincy King. Manga readers know how central that weapon becomes in the final stretch, which makes Uryu’s next move one of the episode’s biggest questions.
With only Episode 10 left after this one, Episode 9 needs to set up the finale’s stakes across all three battlefields at once.
