Platform: Netflix
Episodes: 10
Genre: Romance, Fantasy, Comedy

The premise of Take Charge of My Heart is genuinely one of the more creative things October is offering. Baek Ho-rang is a chaebol heir with a failing artificial heart that is literally running out of battery. No Bo-bae is a woman with the supernatural ability to generate electricity and recharge him.

That is the whole setup and it is exactly as chaotic and charming as it sounds. The fantasy romantic comedy slot has been well served in 2026 and this one has all the ingredients to be the month’s sleeper hit. Netflix premiere on October 9.

4. Love in Disguise

The closer they get to the truth the closer they get to each other and neither of them is being honest about who they actually are.

Based on the web novel Why You Don’t Know It’s a Girl? by Lee A-yeon and Ryu Do-ha, with Kim Jung-hyun and Yeonwoo rounding out the main cast. Airing Mondays and Tuesdays on tvN with global streaming on Amazon Prime Video simultaneously.

Release Date: October 9, 2026
Platform: SBS TV
Episodes: TBA
Genre: Medical, Drama, Action

Kim Ji-won as a brilliant freelance surgeon who does not care about your hospital politics, your bureaucracy, or your corporate power games. That is the pitch and it is enough.

Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia is the official Korean adaptation of the beloved Japanese medical franchise, following Gye Soo-jung, a surgeon with an unmatched success rate who operates strictly on her own terms and saves lives that everyone else has already written off.

The original Japanese Doctor X built a massive following across multiple seasons on the strength of its lead performance and its unapologetic refusal to make the protagonist bend to institutional pressure. Kim Ji-won stepping into that role is one of the most exciting casting decisions of the fall season.

2. 100 Days of Deception

There she crosses paths with Kim Tae-woong, also known by his Japanese name Sato Hideo, an elite English interpreter at the Government-General and the adopted son of Inspector-General Sato Shinichi. He is hiding everything about who he really is. She is hiding who she really is.

The closer they get to the truth the more dangerous the situation becomes for both of them.
