Long before Taylor Swift was cheering from NFL suites for Travis Kelce, she was writing some of her biggest pop hits inside a secluded Beverly Hills hideaway. That famous retreat is back in the spotlight, and it comes with a hefty price tag.

Swift purchased the storied Pillsbury Estate back in 2011, transforming the retreat into a private creative haven where she wrote portions of her smash pop album 1989. Its current owners, fashion designer Nicolas Bijan and interior designer Roxy Bijan, have placed the 1.5-acre mini-compound on the market for an asking price of $7,995,000.
Dedicated Swifties will instantly recognize the grounds from the singer’s iconic Vogue “73 Questions” video, which showcased the home’s distinctive charm and vintage California aesthetic.
Built originally in 1941 for the Pillsbury family, the estate features a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath main residence alongside a detached one-bedroom, one-bath guest house. The private compound includes a motor court with capacity for eight vehicles, a pickleball court, and an idyllic canopy of over a dozen mature live oak trees.
After purchasing the home off-market from Swift in 2018, the Bijans executed an extensive, whole-home remodel that earned a feature in Architectural Digest in 2021. Despite the chic overhaul, the property retains undeniable musical lore.
“When we moved in, there was a beautiful piano in the home office. I couldn’t help but be inspired by what had happened in that room,” Bijan shared with Page Six Hollywood, noting he launched his brand NB44 in the exact space. “You can tell beautiful things have happened here. I hope the next person that lives there will feel creatively inspired.”
Even a personal relic from Swift’s past relationship survives in the landscape: an olive tree originally planted by former flame Calvin Harris remains nestled in the garden, framed today by lush hot-pink roses.
