Rockstar Games has stayed tight-lipped about GTA 6’s actual gameplay mechanics, but an Amazon product listing may have just done the job for them.

Amazon Brazil’s GTA 6 pre-order page accidentally posted a detailed breakdown of the game’s features early, and the list is bigger than most fans expected. From dual-protagonist mechanics to an integrated social media system, the listing paints a picture of the most ambitious open-world Rockstar has ever built.

The timing is notable. Rockstar Games officially opened GTA VI pre-orders on June 25, 2026, and it appears the Brazilian storefront got ahead of itself in filling out the product page.

What the Amazon GTA 6 Listing Actually Says

The headline detail is the one fans have been theorizing about since the first trailer dropped. The listing claims players will be able to switch between Jason and Lucia in real time throughout the campaign, with each character possessing unique abilities that influence missions and the wider criminal ecosystem.

A second Brazilian retailer, KaBum, expanded on that further. Their listing reads: “Switch control between Jason and Lucia in real time, dictating the pace of the story and executing ultra-coordinated heists. Feel the evolution of character management, where each protagonist has unique skills that directly influence the crime ecosystem and the tactical intelligence of the missions.”

That’s a significant step up from GTA V’s protagonist-switching system. Rather than simply toggling between characters in the open world, GTA 6 appears to treat dual-protagonist play as a core tactical mechanic, baked directly into heist design.

The NPC behavior described in the listing is equally ambitious. According to the retailer, NPCs will follow their own daily routines, creating dynamic events across the map. That lines up with what Rockstar’s own patents have suggested for years, and mirrors the organic world design that made Red Dead Redemption 2 feel so alive.

Then there’s the social media system, which may be GTA 6’s most modern and distinctive addition. The listing describes an integrated social networks feature that lets players watch viral videos, follow influencers, and discover world events through their in-game mobile phone. The KaBum listing goes further, claiming players can uncover secret side missions solely through social media activity.

Grand Theft Auto is no stranger to dabbling in made-up internet spaces, but this framing suggests social media is woven into the core gameplay loop rather than treated as background noise.

On the visual side, KaBum also states support for advanced ray tracing, dynamic weather that alters physics and gameplay, and optimization for the PlayStation 5 Pro. The weather detail is particularly interesting as it suggests environmental conditions won’t just look different but will change how missions actually play out.

As for the map itself, Amazon Brazil says GTA 6 players will explore not just Vice City but small towns and several regions of Leonida, with beaches and swamps also mentioned. The scale described is well beyond anything Rockstar has released before.

Much of the info had leaked before in some form, such as patents for NPC behavior, job listings detailing dynamic weather, and missions where players will control both Jason and Lucia. But seeing it all consolidated in an official retail listing gives it a different weight. This isn’t a forum leak or a datamine. It’s product copy from one of the world’s largest online retailers.

Worth keeping in mind that, as no other territory currently replicates this information, it could be erroneous or an AI-generated biography of the game. Rockstar has not officially confirmed the details. Still, the specificity of the KaBum listing, in particular, and the degree to which it aligns with prior credible leaks make this hard to dismiss.

GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026, exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
