Netflix has announced that actor Titus Welliver will make a recurring appearance in The Night Agent Season 4. This follows the official announcement of the renewal of the show on March 6, 2026, just days after the intense release of The Night Agent Season 3. With this new casting, Titus Welliver becomes part of The Night Agent’s strong cast list, and the new season is slated for release in 2027.
Expanded Cast and a New Production Base Shape Season 4
The actor who recently ended a decade-long stint as Detective Harry Bosch in the hit shows Bosch and Bosch: Legacy, before it moved to a spin-off, is expected to play Duval, a senior DOJ prosecutor who will investigate the top-secret “Night Action” program in the US Government.
Duval, as the show states, will be an embodiment of legal conflict in the series as he takes a stand against the series’ main character, Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), in the fight against this program. It was noted that Duval will be an important federal authority, and he will bring about significant federal scrutiny in the show.
Apart from this casting, the series welcomes Trevante Rhodes as Dom, Peter’s new partner. Li Jun Li is joining the cast as Min, who is the wife of Dom, while Elizabeth Lail will be seen as Zoe, Peter’s former fiancée.
The filming is expected to begin in May 2026, when filming moves to Los Angeles. The series, previously filmed at places such as New York and Vancouver, now sees Los Angeles, California, as the production house. A considerable tax credit in the area will play a huge role in the transition of production for the show.
Creator Shawn Ryan has commented about the renewal of the show and what he plans for it in the future, revealing that the new season will come packed with thrilling story arcs.
